Who You Are
You are a passionate leader in process improvement and operational excellence. You thrive on identifying inefficiencies and implementing smart, sustainable solutions. With a strong foundation in engineering and Lean methodologies, you’re driven to create high-impact changes that optimize performance across manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations. As a Advanced Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will lead high-impact initiatives that enhance Breg’s operational performance. Your focus will be on driving Lean transformation in manufacturing and distribution environments by identifying and eliminating waste, optimizing workflows, and improving resource utilization.
What You’ll Do
As a Advanced Continuous Improvement Engineer you will:
- Lead and execute continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Analyze and improve key processes including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Design and implement efficient material flow systems to reduce handling time and support operational flexibility.
- Redesign facility layouts to maximize space utilization and improve logistics operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Logistics, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to support operational changes and new product introductions.
- Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning to identify inefficiencies.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), visual management tools, and performance dashboards.
- Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives with a focus on material handling and distribution efficiency.
- Champion Breg’s culture of accountability and engagement, using tools like storytelling, focused feedback, and recognition.
- Consistently act as a professional ambassador of the company, both internally and externally, while adhering to Breg’s cultural beliefs and delivering key business results.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering or a related field.
- Proven expertise in implementing Lean Manufacturing systems within manufacturing processes.
- A strong focus on distribution center operations improvement is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and simulation software for layout and flow analysis.
- Project management skills with a track record of delivering on-time and within scope.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multifunctional teams.
