EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 8 years’ work experience in a technical environment.
At least 4 years in a leadership role.
5 years’ minimum experience in Aftermarket Parts Sales & Marketing business.
Experience in engineering/technical/OEM environments advantageous.
Exposure to cross-border business operations and foreign exchange.
An understanding of transfer pricing principles.
SUMMARY OF JOB ROLE:
1. Aftermarket Pricing & Business Management:
- Stays abreast with pricing strategies
- Plans pricing assessments at fixed intervals
- Conducts competitor parts pricing comparisons
- Approves quotations for attachments and Aftermarket parts
- Develops Aftermarket Business Plan
- Provides input into Aftermarket pricing strategy & SVM management
- Provides input into Supplier contracts & pricing
- Provides input into Component Pricing Strategies
- Follows-up on quotes submitted
- Monitors correctness & timeousness of quotations
- Resolves problems & issues with quotations
- Communicates changes to internal stakeholders
- Monitors the external market environment
- Reports pricing anomalies
- Prepares & reports on recommendations wrt pricing strategies
- Provides consolidated management reporting for Aftermarket Sales
2. Aftermarket Parts Marketing & Sales Management:
- Develop Aftermarket Parts Marketing & Sales Strategy & Plan
- Develops and maintains relationships with senior stakeholders (customers, suppliers, OEM)
- Manages and facilitates Aftermarket parts sales within the organisation
- Resolving customer complaints & issues with operations
- Monitors Aftermarket parts order trends
- Collates sales metrics for the Group
- Tracks DT body sales & associated royalty payments to DTSA.
- Manages the roylaty & service agreements with DTSA.
- Conducts and reports on wallet share analysis
- Provides leads report
- Reports on lost sales
- Analyses & reports conversion-ratio (quotes to orders)
- Drafts standard sales reports (actual vs forecast)
3. Aftermarket Component Planning & Tracking
- Stays abreast with CTS enhancements/roll-out plans
- Plans actions to be executed CTS (Component Tracking System on Salesforce)
- Plans engagements with branches to identify strategic parts demand
- Compiles quarterly reviews
- Resolves issues & queries relating to Aftermarket Components
- Monitors stock levels of strategic consumable and functional parts
- Compiles a report on identified Aftermarket opportunities
- Reports on component planning fleet coverage
- Compiles standard management reports
4. Manages the Aftermarket Section in the CS & Aftermarket Division:
- Plan Stays abreast of plans, policies & procedures
- Provides input into the strategic plan for this organisational function
- Execute Manages the human resources as per structure
- Implements procedural & policy changes
- Engages with internal stakeholders to facilitate business process flow
- Implements special projects

5. Financial Planning & Budgeting:

6. Manages Staff Performance:
- Plan Liaises with HC function on staff development needs
