About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Regional Sales Manager to help drive Zeller’s customer acquisition and growth in Queensland. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you’ll play a key role in building and leading a growing team of Account Executives based in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast, driving pipeline development, executing our regional go-to-market strategy, and ensuring we meet and exceed our revenue goals.

Role responsibilities
Take ownership of sales performance across your region, driving customer growth, revenue, and profitability.
Recruit, coach and develop a team of Account Executives to deliver regional bookings and revenue targets.
Work closely with the Head of Sales and other Regional Sales Managers to execute your local go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with national business priorities.
Support your team in building and managing their pipelines — from lead generation through to closing deals and onboarding customers.
Lead from the front by owning a small individual sales target, which can be reduced by team over-performance to KPIs.
Develop strong relationships with local business leaders and merchants to understand their needs and position our products effectively.
Monitor performance metrics and sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement in your local region.
Maintain a deep understanding of our full product suite, becoming a trusted expert and advocate for our customers.
Represent the company at regional industry events, trade shows, networking sessions and partner activations.
Contribute to building a high-performing, feedback-driven sales culture. .
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of hands-on sales experience as a mid-market Account Executive or BDM in B2B environments, ideally within fintech, SaaS or payments.
Experience directly or indirectly coaching or training salespeople in a fast-paced sales cycle.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing full-cycle sales processes.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills — able to structure and close win-win commercial deals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
A collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Analytical mindset with experience using CRM tools and data to inform decision making (At Zeller, we use Hubspot).
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, scaleup environment and takes ownership of results.
Positive attitude, resilience, and willingness to roll up your sleeves to help your team succeed.
Bonus Points
Experience in B2B fintech, SaaS, or payments industries.
Exposure to high-growth or early-stage startup environments.
Experience managing distributed sales teams or remote staff.
