- Focusing on providing technical advice, direction, and overview of the day-to-day delivery of urban development engineering designs, as well as meeting agreed budgetary, quality, safety and timeframe targets
- Managing selected designs and teams to develop and implement the highest level of technical delivery through effective review process while exceeding client expectations
- Building effective and enduring relationships with our other teams and technical disciplines, and external organisations to foster co-operation and maximise our technical offering to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design
- Managing subconsultants, quality assurance, client feedback and ensure effective communication of any changes/modifications
- Championing the involvement and inclusion of our interstate and overseas teams by ensuring a seamless part of our service offering
- Technical quality assurance and report writing
- To build and consolidate networks within the industry.
First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life and want to be part of city-shaping projects and providing the best solutions to our clients. You are a tertiary qualified engineer with extensive experience in urban development design and come to us with:
- Relevant degree (Civil Engineering preferred) recognised by a relevant Industry Association or Institute – Chartered professional status, or equivalent and a post graduate qualification will be highly regarded
- Extensive industry experience (minimum seven years) including overseeing the engineering aspects of a project, application of standards and technical knowledge within the NSW urban development market
- Ability to provide technical expertise and direction through consultative support and effective communication to the teams
- Ability to lead, manage, mentor and develop large to medium scale, diverse project teams
- Experience of working in multi-discipline teams and/or project teams on major complex projects across a range of market sectors
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally.
