JOB FUNCTION

This Intern will be individually mentored by members of our Fundraising and Investor Relations team in New York and have direct, hands-on exposure related to tasks specific to this intern’s mentor’s day-to-day role. The individual will gain insights on the fundraising process and investor relations globally. As part of our summer internship program, interns are encouraged to listen in on weekly investment committee meetings and attend our weekly speaker series to gain a comprehensive view of Riverside’s functions and collaborative culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks the Intern can expect, but are not limited to, include:

  • Supporting team members as needed to help complete investor requests, preparing presentations and other documents needed during the fundraising process.
  • Assisting with creating fundraising reports for each active fund in the market in order for the team and fund managers to understand the fundraising pipeline.
  • Helping to update information for all active investors and their related fundraising activities within Riverside’s CRM system (i.e., contact information, meetings, phone calls, emails and other key investor correspondences).
  • Researching and developing materials for investor meetings on a weekly basis to prepare the team for upcoming meetings with investors.
  • Maintaining the electronic data rooms for the active fundraises to ensure that prospective investors have access to the most recent information.
  • Completing ad hoc research assignments.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Undergraduate student from the Class of 2027 and 2028 with previous office experience.
  • Strong consideration will be made for candidates that have some investment banking, or PE/VC/Hedge fund investment experience
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent analytical mindset and data manipulation skills
  • Strong desktop research skills
  • Excellent work ethic and desire to gain a broad view of one of the world’s most active private equity firms
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize; excellent time management skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of attention to detail

INTERNSHIP DETAILS

Dates: Start and end dates are negotiable between June 2026 and August 2026. We expect a 10-week commitment from students

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Location: NYC
