Job Summary

Gunnison County Housing Authority is focused on building and owning rental housing with the objective of holding these units in perpetuity and maintaining cost affordability. When there is excess rent revenue after management, maintenance and funding replacement reserves, the County Housing Authority will use the revenue to reinvest to achieve the Board's strategic goals for housing and other community needs. The Gunnison County Housing Authority will be adding standing up a public-facing operational organization in 2026, including staffing to expand our ability achieve the BOCC’s strategic objectives for housing and other community needs. 


The primary goal of the Sr. Property Manager is to maintain and preserve the public assets in the GCHA property management portfolio and ensure that all residents have effective access to decent, safe and affordable housing that is consistent with their needs. The Sr. Property Manager will primarily be responsible for the leasing, compliance, maintenance and fiscal oversight of the affordable and workforce housing portfolio.


Pay Rate

The monthly range is from $6,555.03 to $7,176.03, depending on experience, plus full benefits.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license.
  • Must complete ICS 100 and ICS 200 within the first year of employment.

Qualifications/Education

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a related degree. 
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that the County deems appropriate.
