POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary responsibilities include performing troubleshooting, repair, installation, routine maintenance, and ensuring facility cleanliness. Will troubleshoot issues and perform repairs at Tyree operated facilities and customer facilities along with coordinating the efforts of outside vendors, electricians, plumbers, contractors, and others, when needed.
Secondary duties involve augmenting Tyree’s Industrial Service Technicians in support of maintenance of lubrication and filtration equipment related products and services to include lubricant sampling, inspection and maintenance of hydraulic power units, gear boxes and other lubricating systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure that the exterior and interior of all offices, buildings, Cardlock locations, and retail stations are maintained in accordance with related compliance, company standards and expectations.
• Perform regular site evaluations and provide recommendations to management regarding improvements/alterations to sites.
• Ensure that all equipment at Cardlock sites is in proper working order.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning equipment, fixtures, electrical, plumbing systems, light fixtures, and signage in accordance with company standards.
• Create and maintain maintenance logs for work performed in accordance with Company standards.
• Perform physical inventory counts at Cardlock sites.
• Maintain assigned Company vehicle in accordance with Company standards.
• Perform equipment install and repairs at customer locations as needed
• Inspect and perform periodic maintenance of customers HPU's, gear boxes and other industrial lubricating systems per customer requirements
• Sampling of lubricants from HPU's, gear boxes and other lubricating systems per requirements
• Interpret sampling and oil analysis
• Present and discuss system inspection, sampling findings results with customers and make recommendations of proactive maintenance and services to be performed
• Complete work orders for each inspection documenting date and what was fixed
• Deliver and install, lubrication, filtration and oil purification systems at customer sites
• Instruct customers on the operation of equipment sold or rented to the customer
• Maintain and repair company owned filtration and oil purification equipment.
• Adhere to all customer safety and environmental policies
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Demonstrate, practice, support all safety requirements and regulations of the company and customers
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move heavier weight necessary at times. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Excellent stamina is required. The employee regularly works on or near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt. The employee may occasionally work in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is generally loud.
Machinery/Forklift operation may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hardhats.
WORK SCHEDULE AND TRAVEL:
• Hours Per Week: Regularly scheduled for 40 hours per week
• Days Per Week: 5 days per week / 8 hours per day
• Shift: Day shift
• Overtime: Occasional/Regular overtime is required.
• Weekends/Evenings: Weekends/ Evenings are occasionally required.
• May be required to travel to/from Tyree Oil locations; Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum Experience: Four or more years of maintenance experience; strong mechanical and industrial skills desired.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Post high school education in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred
• Equivalency: Completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, set goals, and accomplish responsibilities with limited supervision.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize workflow.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organization both in person and in writing.

• Basic computer skills, e.g., Microsoft office suite Outlook, Word, Excel
• Able to periodically lift and/or mover up to 100lbs
