How You Will Make an Impact

· Provide mentorship and expertise regarding environmental due diligence, hazardous materials survey, and abatement/demolition oversight services.

· Independently completes project deliverables.

· Performs task management responsibilities within deadlines. 

· Assist with the preparation of technical proposals. 

· Effectively manages workload to exceed client expectations and meet project requirements.

· Partners with Project Managers to manage tasks and assist in developing new opportunities.

· Prepare technical reports.

· May serve as an Assistant Project Manager under the direct supervision of a Project Manager.

· Review reports, provide instruction, and mentorship to junior staff. 

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology or comparable discipline.

· MI Asbestos Project Designer Certificate preferred.

· MI Asbestos Inspector Certification required.

· 40-Hour HAZWOPER training is preferred.

· 5-7+ years of experience in Asbestos/Hazardous Materials Surveys for building rehabilitation and demolition projects.

· Leadership experience in mentoring and leading junior staff is preferred

· Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrated collaborative approach to problem-solving, and have ability to interact with clients to understand their needs.

· Exceptional time management and organizational skills, and ability to work on projects for multiple project managers within budgets and timelines. 

· Must hold a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance and be willing to travel to and conduct field work at job sites as well as NTH offices in Michigan.

· May be required to perform job duties in the field and office, during non-standard work hours, as necessary.

· Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
