This position is responsible for managing a variety of Corporate HR (CHR) programs with a strong focus on Workday implementation and optimization. Drives the stabilization and rollout of Workday modules (e.g., Talent Optimization, Advanced Compensation, Succession Planning, Recruiting, Calibration, Peakon, etc.) and performs other project management duties with CHR priorities. Displays deep project management expertise, Workday implementation experience, and a passion for delivering scalable, high-impact HR technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages the full lifecycle of CHR projects, with a strong focus on Workday module implementations and enhancements.
  • Collaborates with CHR executive leadership, HR functional leads, IT, and external vendors to prioritize and deliver strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.
  • Builds cross-functional relationships to enhance the employee experience through well-managed programs and process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, and status reports; monitors progress against objectives and ensures business impact.
  • Identifies, mitigates, and escalates project risks and issues as needed.
  • Coordinates stakeholder communications and provides regular updates to CHR leadership and project teams.
  • Partners with change management stakeholders to support adoption efforts, including documentation, training, and user procedures.
  • Tracks and reports on key performance indicators and success metrics.
  • Supports post-implementation stabilization and drive continuous improvement.
  • Navigates cross-functional dependencies and influences alignment across CHR and organizational priorities.
  • Resolves day-to-day project issues independently, escalating complex matters appropriately.
  • Facilitates ideation and innovation sessions with stakeholders to optimize programs.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the CHR mission: engaging strategically with leaders and employees to serve the company culture, grow the business, and make a difference in our communities.
  • Mentors and trains newly appointed personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Five to seven years of experience in project management, preferably within HR or enterprise systems, is required.
  • Experience managing Workday implementations or module rollouts is required.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and systems, especially in areas like compensation, talent management, and employee engagement.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple, cross functional projects in a fast paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, systematic problem-solving approach, and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at managing stakeholders and fostering collaboration.
  • Skilled in project tracking tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira) and Microsoft Office; quick to learn new applications.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience within a team setting.
  • Effective in persuasion, influence, negotiation, leadership, conflict resolution, and decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
