Position: RN Services Manager 
Employment Type: Full-time 30 hours/week, Hybrid - $45 - $48 per hour
Location: Portland Metro with occasional travel required to all service regions throughout Oregon.

Role Overview: 

As ALSO’s RN Services Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—leading with purpose, compassion, and integrity. You’ll provide expert clinical oversight, ensure care plans meet the highest standards, and guide your team to deliver services that are safe, person-centered, and fully compliant with DHS, OAR, and nursing care standards. 

This role blends hands-on nursing with leadership. You’ll spend part of your week delivering direct care, and the rest mentoring your team, coordinating schedules and payroll, overseeing care plans, and contributing to interdisciplinary and leadership meetings.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide compassionate nursing oversight and guide individualized care that honors each person’s dignity and autonomy. 

  • Lead and mentor the nursing team, fostering a culture of trust, growth, and collaboration. 

  • Coordinate schedules, review timecards, and ensure smooth payroll processes that support team balance and accountability. 

  • Partner with leadership and Quality Improvement to ensure compliance with DHS, OAR, and Nursing Board standards while continuously enhancing quality of services. 

  • Develop and refine nursing policies, procedures, and care protocols that reflect best practices and innovation. 

  • Build strong relationships with healthcare providers, regulatory partners, and community resources to enhance continuity of care. 

  • Champion the rights, well-being, and empowerment of people with disabilities through advocacy and integrity in practice. 

Benefits: 

Pay rate: $45 - $48 per hour, depending on experience and education

Qualifications: 

  • 2 Years experience working as an RN in healthcare or human services 

  • 1 year previous supervisory or leadership experience 

  • Strong leadership and communication skills 

  • Ability to balance administrative duties with providing direct nursing and on-call support to meet the needs of your team and individuals we support 

  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and advocacy 

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

  • Knowledge of person-centered planning principles is preferred
