The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for the overall direction of home health clinical services and serves as a champion of our CAPLICO Values:

The DCS establishes implements and evaluates goals and objectives for home health nursing services and all therapy services. This position also ensures services are delivered appropriately and meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.

DCS Essential Duties
Ensures Agency compliance with all applicable state and federal home health laws and regulations.
Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Ensures Nursing and Therapy Clinical Managers are available during all operating hours
Assists Clinical Managers in managing clinical teams and planning.
Responsible for assuring the development, implementation, and updates of the individualized plan of care, which would entail communication with all physicians involved in the plan of care and integration of orders, including medication orders, from all physicians involved in the plan of care.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN), Physical Therapist (PT), Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), or Occupational Therapist (OT) with current licensure to practice in the State
Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional administrative personnel
Be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
Knowledge of business management, state, and federal governmental regulations
