We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design; water resources design; environmental analysis & permitting; construction engineering & inspection; traffic engineering & transportation planning; surveying; and land acquisition & appraisal. Our transportation design team offers a variety of services, but most of our work involves roadway and bridge design for various local public agencies and state DOT’s.

Key responsibilities will include:
Serving as a project engineer with responsibility for various local agency and/or DOT roadway design projects.
Assisting with project task management, budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Delegating work to project team members.
Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance.
Assisting with the preparation of project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Coordinating with clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
Taking a lead role in project planning, design, and implementation.
Performing detailed engineering analysis and design tasks.
Assisting with the preparation of complete project documents, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
Assisting upper level management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor.
Qualifications for this role:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Ohio.
10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in roadway/highway design, including ODOT experience.
Experience with OpenRoads Designer.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Commitment to quality and excellence.
Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
