Description

Senior Architect

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Architect has gained broad experience in multiples projects types and clients or garnered enough experience in a single client and/or project type to be seen as an expert in that particular area and recognized as a leader in the industry based on experiences.


Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development of marketing documents that accurately communicate firm experience and capabilities.
  • Participate in professional development activities that offer exchanges with other design professionals and potential clients.
  • Expanded management responsible for program.
    • Establish project milestones with Design Team.
    • Conduct periodic progress meetings with Design Team.
    • Develop and maintain effective and productive relationships with clients.
    • Establish fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals for assigned projects.
    • Manage client budgets, schedules, project communications and documentation.
    • Assign project teams to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Identify changes in project scope that require additional services and manage modifications to the contract.
  • Maintain positive work environment within firm that facilitates cooperation, teamwork, and staff morale.
  • Direct training and mentoring for new and junior staff.

Qualifications


Management Requirements: 8+ staff
Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in architecture or equivalent education or experience
Licensure Requirements: Architectural registration with current licensure, NCARB registration preferred; LEED Green Associate accreditation desired
