About the Role

At Crown Fine Art, we specialise in the safe handling, transportation, and installation of priceless artworks. As a part of the team, you’ll be part of a team that works behind the scenes to ensure every masterpiece is treated with the respect and precision it deserves.

This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals from a fine art operational backgrounds such as logistics, or warehousing.

The core responsibilities of the role will be to ensure that art works are handled to company standards and safety procedures are observed.  

The provision of a high standard of service is of paramount importance to this role. Creating long-term relationships with both Public and Private Institutions requires high standards of service that encourage our clients to seek deeper relationships with us, in line with our CORE strategy.


What You’ll Do

  1. Handling and Packing Artwork: Safely pack, crate, and handle fine art pieces using museum-grade materials and techniques to prevent damage during storage or transit.
  2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of artworks in storage, including condition reports, location tracking, and database updates.
  3. Condition Reporting: Conduct detailed inspections of artworks upon arrival and departure, documenting any changes or damages.
  4. Coordination with Logistics Teams: Work closely with transportation and curatorial staff to schedule shipments, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with handling protocols.

  • Art Handling Experience
  • Installation and Deinstallation
  • Knowledge of tools
  • Knowledge of materials and fittings
  • Full clean driving licence or willingness to travel by public transport to other Crown Fine Art warehouse countrywide.
