The primary responsibility of this position is to support the marketing, business development and communications efforts of Lippes Mathias. This individual will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will work closely with lawyers and the marketing team to organize and coordinate marketing activities. Candidates must be self-motivated, responsive, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude. Strong organizational skills and a high energy level are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that each practice group’s marketing materials – including attorney bios, website materials, and other content – are up to date, accurate, and complete
- Prepare marketing materials (brochures, attorney biographies, newsletters, etc.)
- Budget and invoice tracking and maintenance, and vendor correspondence
- Coordinate and track firm sponsorships and charitable contributions
- Prepare attendee and invitation lists, nametags, coordinate invitation process, review and research venues, prepare for and attend events as needed
- Assist with website maintenance, newsletter development, and client alert design and distribution
- Assist with mailing list creation
- Update data in spreadsheets
- Source, order, and oversee inventory of promotional marketing items
- Review, update, and develop PowerPoints and other documents
- Support the process of developing pitches, proposals, and RFP responses
- Coordinate with photographers on headshot photo shoots firmwide
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Provide individual assistance to the Chief Marketing Officer, and attorneys as requested
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree and office experience
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, eager to learn and grow
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment
- Ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task, and take initiative
- Ability to work well independently and with team members
- High competency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Flexibility with overtime
Salary range depending on experience: $46,800 - $54,600 annual (non-exempt position)
The pay range provided in this listing is a good faith estimate for this position based on the location that we are hiring for. Criteria included but not limited to, skill level, education, and experience, will determine where a candidate falls within the range.
