Position Title: Project Accounting Administrator

Location: Taylor, TX


Position Summary

The Project Accounting Administrator will provide project support and accounting oversight for PMI’s Samsung Project operations, based out of Taylor, TX. This position is responsible for assisting with planning, scheduling, documentation, and cost tracking to support project delivery. The Project Accounting Administrator will act as a liaison between field operations, project management, and internal finance departments to ensure accurate reporting and efficient project execution.


This role is project driven, as a result this description is not all inclusive, and is subject to change per the demands of the project.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Managers and site supervision with scheduling, planning, and execution tracking.
  2. Maintain and organize project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, daily reports, meeting minutes, safety and quality records.
  3. Assist in preparation of project billings, cost reports, forecasts, and payroll reconciliations.
  4. Track manpower, equipment, and material usage.
  5. Coordinate communication between field teams, clients, subcontractors, and PMI internal departments.
  6. Support the development of two-week and six-week look-ahead schedules and related project planning tools.
  7. Ensure compliance with contract, safety, and quality requirements.

Work Conditions

  1. Based in Taylor, TX, with required travel to regional project sites.
  2. Role includes field responsibilities, with time spent on active commercial and industrial jobsites.
  3. Must be able to wear required PPE and work in outdoor environments.

Requirements

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, project coordination, project controls, or administrative support within industrial construction.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  3. Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Highly adaptable and willing to take on new challenges
  6. Able to work flexible schedule in line with the demand of the project
  • Current schedule as of this posting is Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 5:00pm and Saturday, 6:30am - 3:00pm


Preferred

  1. Familiarity with scaffolding, coatings, insulation, fireproofing, and/or abatement is preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred); equivalent industry experience acceptable.
