Production Operator en SetPoint Medical

Description

SetPoint Medical’s Production Operator plays a vital role in supporting efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This position involves performing all tasks related to the manufacturing of the company’s Class III medical device, including operating and maintaining production test equipment, conducting quality control checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all products meet company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Experience in Class III medical device manufacturing is highly preferred.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities: 

· Perform all manufacturing tasks, including operating and monitoring production and test equipment.

· Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.

· Perform quality inspections throughout production and adjust processes as needed to ensure product integrity.

· Maintain accurate production records, including material usage, output, downtime, product traceability, and quality documentation.

· Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and regulatory standards across all production areas.

· Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments for new product runs.

· Collaborate effectively with both team members and cross-functional departments to meet production targets and deadlines.

· Promptly report any significant test equipment issues or operational concerns to leadership.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing workflows and enhancing operational efficiency.

· Participate in training and development programs to maintain and develop technical skills.

Minimum Qualifications: 

· High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.

· Prior experience in a production, manufacturing, or assembly environment.

· Familiarity with quality control processes, safety regulations, and basic data entry.

· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.

· Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications: 

· Experience in Class III medical device manufacturing.

· Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.

· Familiarity with automated and computer-controlled production systems.

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals.

· Prior experience in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing environments.

Physical Requirements: 

· Ability to perform routine physical tasks, including lifting up to 35 pounds.

· Comfortable working in a standing position and performing repetitive tasks.

Work Location and Travel:

· Company Headquarters in Valencia, CA.

· Minimal travel; opportunities may be available based on interest and business need.
