Louisiana Bridge Builders (“LBB”) is designing and building the new I-10 Calcasieu River Bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana (USA) for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD). LBB will also be responsible for the reconstruction of interstate highway, various structures, ramps, and approaches for a 5.5 mile stretch between I-210 West End and Ryan Street.

POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY 

The Warehouse Coordinator is committed to supporting Louisiana Bridge Builders by overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse by maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards.

LOCATION 

This position is based in Lake Charles, LA.  

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  1. Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
  2. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
  3. Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  4. Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to prevent stock discrepancies.
  5. Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize inventory flow.
  6. Monitor and maintain all warehouse equipment in coordination with the equipment team.
  7. Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and handling of materials according to company and regulatory requirements.
  8. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in the warehouse.
  9. Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow.
  10. Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, shipments, and operational efficiency.
  11. Operate and maintain warehouse equipment such as forklifts & pallet jacks.
  12. Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  2. Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.

  8. Ability to operate power equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS 

At a minimum, the Warehouse Coordinator must have a high school diploma, or equivalent, along with 3+ years of warehouse operations experience and logistics coordination with a proficiency in inventory management systems, a current and valid driver’s license, and certification, or the ability to obtain certification, to operate power equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, etc.
