Job Details:
Status: Regular, full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8am-5pm)
Pay rate- $154-$20/hour (based on certification or degree and years of experience)
Onsite - Clarkston, Michigan
Qualifications:
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential required OR bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development or child-related field preferred
- Minimum of one year experience in an infant classroom required
- CPR Certification
- Willing to pursue higher education in accordance with NAEYC and Michigan Child Care Licensing guidelines for ECE Teachers

Essential functions of the Lead Infant teacher…
As the Lead Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in the development and well-being of infants, creating a warm, engaging and safe environment for them to thrive. You will lead the day-to-day activities and have the support and collaboration of an assistant teacher to provide the best possible learning experience and care for children from 6 weeks to 12 months old. Heartfelt Impressions utilizes the High Scope curriculum in all classrooms including infants and toddlers.
- Ensures overall safety of children
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests
- Implement HighScope curriculum, philosophy, and assessment tools
- Conduct Parent Teacher conferences
- Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
- Attend Heartfelt Impressions company/school meetings
- Partner with parents and assist students regarding “Toilet Learning” approaches
- Participate in snack and meal service Family Style Dining
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
- Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
