Requirements / Qualifications

Required: --High school Diploma or equivalent -Any combination equivalent to; graduation from high school, supplemented by training and/or experience working with children in a learning situation - Must pass Paraprofessional exam before employment offer. To schedule exam, contact Emilia Lopez at [email protected] or 707-890-3800 EXT 80610 OR -If you have 48 college credit units or more, you are exempt from taking the Paraprofessional exam. Attach college transcripts to application. Desired: Knowledge of: - Correct English usage, vocabulary, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and arithmetic - General classroom procedures and equipment - Basic software programs and office equipment - Able to work individually and in small groups with students and instruct students in particular subject areas
