We are looking to add a CSR to our team in Americus, GA who has a working knowledge of equipment and understands how to develop and build customer relationships in an assigned territory. |
Position Specifics:
Department: Parts/Service
Reports to: Parts/Service Manager
Supervises: None
Job Status: Exempt
Essential Functions:
• Qualified candidates will be responsible for the coverage, retention, development and acquisition of customers within a sales territory to increase parts and service sales for ag and turf equipment
• Develop sales forecast and business plans for each assigned customer
• Perform general machine inspections on site
• Provide maintenance and service recommendations to customers
• Provide feedback on competitive pricing and promotions
• Responsible for territory-specific parts and service sales budget goals
• Provide support for the customers’ use of technology products and promoting JD WorkSight / ForestSight offerings
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
• Must be self-motivated, sales oriented and committed to a high standard of customer service
• Prior experience in ag & turf equipment parts and service business required
• John Deere equipment experience preferred
• Written and oral communication skills necessary
• Ability to use standard computer applications and adopt new technologies quickly
• Must have a clean MVR
• High school diploma or equivalent
