Instructional Paraprofessional (2025/2026 School Year) en Chico Unified School District

Under general supervision, to perform a variety of instructional support duties involved in providing instructional assistance to individuals or small groups of students in various special education programs and to perform a variety of clerical duties as assigned.

Candidates who submit proof with the application of holding a valid CA teaching credential, passing the CBEST or having 48 or more college units will not need to take the Competency Exam. If you do not have any of the above mentioned items and have not previously passed the District's Competency test you will have to take the written exam. A study guide is available for the Competency Exam only and can be obtained by emailing [email protected].

Salary Range: $19.20 - $29.79 Per Hour
