Your Role: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as the Chief of Staff to the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This role is critical in driving the strategic initiatives and operational goals of the Technology department, ensuring alignment with the broader enterprise strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology planning, operations management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Your Work:

  • Develop and implement a centralized long-term plan for technology, ensuring integration with the enterprise strategy.
  • Establish annual operational goals, objectives, and key results; track progress and monitor execution.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships through alignment meetings, Strategy Committee, and Board of Director reporting.
  • Plan and facilitate offsite meetings for Directors and Vice Presidents.
  • Plan and coordinate integrated All-Hands meetings and blogs in partnership with Internal Communications.
  • Drive corporate citizenship opportunities and participation; engage with Employee Resource Groups to identify volunteer opportunities.
  • Create and maintain a SharePoint site for the Technology department.
  • Drive integrated leadership alignment through weekly meetings.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience:

  • Requires a college degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Requires a minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • A Green Belt designation from either Six Sigma or LEAN with work towards a Black belt, Agile, or Change Management Certification (Prosci, ACMP, GAWM, CMI etc.) strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in technology planning and operations management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with SharePoint and other collaboration tools.
  • Commitment to corporate citizenship and community engagement.

  • Hybrid (Default): Work from a business unit-approved office at least two (2) times per month (for roles below Director-level) or once per week (for Director-level roles and above). Exceptions:

o   Employees living more than 50 miles from their assigned offices are expected to work with their managers on a plan for periodic office visits.

  • On-Site: Work from a business unit-approved office an average of four (4) or more days a week.

    Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
