Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).
- 7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
- Experience with lease accounting (ASC 842), financial reporting, operational accounting (accounting close, journal entries, memos, etc), and process improvements in a public accounting or multinational company setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Experience creating accounting memos and process documentation.
- Experience implementing and improving business processes and systems.
- Ability to have strong attention to detail, and focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to have a collaborative style and work with cross-functional and international teams.
- Excellent investigative and organizational skills.

You'll advise on financial reports required by governmental regulations, and review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports. You'll lead an accounting process from end-to-end. Other responsibilities include reconciling balance sheets and P&L accounts, and providing supplementary financial information for internal and external reports.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of assessing and accounting for arrangements for high priority offerings and initiatives within Cloud. You will be a team-oriented accountant, contributing to a high-energy, growth environment. You will be an integral part of the financial reporting process and have the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams. You will be part of the Cloud Controllership team and will coordinate across all finance areas on cost and associated financial reporting matters.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$183,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive accounting processes, policies, and controls for the assigned work streams (i.e. leases, internal-used software, etc.), ensure alignment with established standards and best practices.
- Design and implement solutions that can scale, elevate steady-state manual processes to a semi-automated or automated scalable solution.
- Understand the existing control environment with the ability to further identify risks and effectively communicate and execute opportunities for improvements.
- Drive process and system enhancements while maintaining efficient financial close processes and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) controls and build strong cross-functional relationships across departments to support company initiatives, and ensure adherence to global policies.
- Create and deliver clear, impactful presentations on complex accounting topics to various audiences and identify and escalate key issues to executive leadership, partnering to drive problem-solving and decision-making.
