  • Collects patient identification cards and insurance information. 
  • Ensures documentation is completed and signed. 
  • Collects copays and deductibles as needed. 
  • Records payments in the billing system.   
  • Balances upfront collections. 
  • Notifies clinical when patient is ready to proceed to the clinical area. 
  • Regular and predictable attendance required. 
  • Prepares patient charts for the following day.
  • Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
