Location: Delray Beach, FL

JOB PURPOSE

The PM Senior Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor, ensuring efficient and safe manufacturing of high-quality food products. This role leads and develops production teams, enforces safety and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement in productivity and operational performance. The schedule for this position is from 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM or when business ends, and you must be available on Holidays and Weekends.

Requirements

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee production activities, lead the team, and ensure goals are met.
  • Manage and support employees in coaching and performance decisions.
  • Train, coach, and mentor production staff to enhance team performance. 
  • Enforce all company policies and procedures
  • Prepare all paperwork required in a neat, legible, and timely manner
  • Maintain an efficient and productive line of cooperation and communication with other departments and support groups.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the RedZone program to facilitate nightly data collection
  • Organize and update operating procedures on an ongoing basis 
  • Maintain a high level of morale in all areas of production by responding to employee needs, recognizing achievement, and providing ongoing training programs.
  • Meet and maintain all related company objectives and efficiency standards. 
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of production teams across multiple lines or shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, USDA, FDA, and company safety and quality regulations.
  • Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet customer demand and minimize downtime.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, non-conformances, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams to optimize plant efficiency.
  • Implement and promote Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for leadership review.
  • Enforce disciplinary actions and performance management procedures as needed.


PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Frequently to constantly standing, walking
  • Occasionally to frequently bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling climbing
  • Occasionally carrying products 5 pounds to 50 pounds 
  • Occasionally to frequently repetitive hand motions (i.e., writing)
  • High degree of pressure to meet production schedules
  • Constant exposure to product fumes such as onions, peppers, etc.
  • Exposure to chemicals such as chlorine, etc.
  • Constant exposures to varying degrees of temperature 45 degrees or less.
  • Flexibility with schedule is needed, nights are required as a PM shift, weekends and holidays
  • Works overtime as required
  • Other duties as assigned


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Fresh Foods/CPG Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business, or related field 
  • 5+ years of Operations Experience in food or beverage manufacturing 
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint 
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation practices
  • Leadership qualities (positively affect/influence others/delegate responsibility) in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and general communication skills
  • Possession of key competencies, including conflict management, business negotiation, organization, and decision-making
