Company & Position Details

Location: Lewiston (Primary) Winona (Routinely)

Days/Hours: Core office hours, Mondays-Fridays, 8:00am-4:00pm. This position primarily works day hours, with the ability to flex work hours to support all shifts and business needs required.

Position Status: Full-Time, Exempt

The Team:

Manufacturing Engineering provides the tools, work instructions and guidance to Production co-workers to build error-free products for Riverside Integrated Solutions customers. This ranges from start-up of new product to troubleshooting new problems on products we’ve build for 20 years. In these efforts we constantly endeavor to reduce costs, improve quality and improve our responsiveness to our Production co-workers.

The Role:
Provide technical support for RIS customers regarding the product assembly processes. Provide technical support to the RIS production team to allow them to build high quality products.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

You will spend your time:

• Interfacing with customers
• Developing process documentation and operating parameters
• Designing and coordinating building of production fixtures and tools
• Maximizing process efficiencies
• Troubling shoot production process issues
• Conducting root cause analysis

We are excited about you if you have:

• 4-year Engineering degree or equivalent preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in electronic assembly and contract manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of ISO 9001
• Problem solving experience
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project
• Self-motivation and are able to work with minimal direction

Travel:

• This position will travel between the RiverSide Lewiston and Winona facilities.
• Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs will be required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling
• Ability to walk, stand, and sit
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
