Role Overview
The SVP/Vice President of Business Integration will lead the strategic direction of cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance customer experience, and promote a culture of excellence across the Power Generation (PG) business reporting to the COO. This role is responsible for aligning operational performance with the company’s mission and vision through leadership development, process improvement, and employee empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Serve as a key leader driving operational and organizational excellence throughout PG.
- Develop and execute an integrated strategy that aligns with business goals and enhances customer-centric service delivery.
- Oversee the combined efforts of PG teams: Transformation Office, Business Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Customer Excellence, Quality, and Organizational Excellence.
Culture & Change Management
- Champion the adoption of Change Management and existing key process across the company.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, leadership presence, and accountability.
- Lead organizational change and foster collaboration across departments and locations.
People & Development
- Mentor and develop Leadership and Management under the Business Integration umbrella.
- Oversee leadership development, onboarding, coaching, and the assimilation of the PG cultures.
- Drive training & development programs designed to empower employees and improve team performance.
Operational Performance & Improvement
- Identify and close the gap between “work as imagined” and “work as done” through data-driven improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on quality, customer satisfaction, and internal transformation.
- Ensure timely execution of continuous improvement projects and strategic programs.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operational excellence, continuous improvement, or organizational development.
- Proven ability to lead diverse, multi-functional teams.
- Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, HOP, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capable of influencing at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in cultural transformation and leadership development programs. Ability to travel 20%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Prior experience integrating excellence initiatives across quality, customer service, operations and transformation functions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
