The Claims Analyst is responsible for managing the end-to-end Distribution Damage Claims process, ensuring timely and accurate claim processing from initiation to collection. The Claims Group oversees all Oncor damage claim events, beginning with the event being reported in the Oncor system and concluding when the claim is sent to Corporate Claims for collection.
This role involves monitoring and supporting the Optimal Claims Recovery (OCR) application, meeting all reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with damage claim processes. The Claims Analyst will play a key role in the implementation, execution, and sustainability of the Damage Claims Groups operations.
This role will be based in our Arlington service center and will provide support coverage for our Arlington, Benbrook, and Cleburne markets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent:
- Process all Oncor Distribution Damage Claims and Streetlight Claims efficiently and accurately.
- Manage and process multiple claims simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution.
- Establish and maintains a strong working relationship with Distribution personnel to obtain necessary claims-related information.
- Document, tracks, and report the status of damage claims through the claim lifecycle.
- Monitors and responds promptly to emails in the Claim Support Mailbox.
- Ensures compliance with all essential functions, job requirements, and company policies.
- Assist with storm restoration as needed.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Applicants with a degree encouraged to apply.
- Applicants with 2+ years administrative support and Claims processing experience encouraged to apply.
