General Summary
The eCommerce Marketplaces Coordinator supports the daily operations and growth of multiple brands across third-party marketplaces, including Amazon Seller Central (FBA/FBM) and channels managed through Shopify Marketplace Connect (e.g., Walmart, Target+, etc.). This role ensures product listings accuracy, optimal fulfillment performance, and profitable sales.
This hybrid position, based in Irvine, CA, requires an organized, analytical, and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates cross-functionally with Planning, Operations, Creative, and Customer Service teams.
Essential Job Functions
Marketplace Operations & Catalog Health
- Manage daily product catalog setup and maintenance across Amazon and other marketplace channels.
- Monitor and resolve listing errors, suppressed ASINs, and compliance issues.
- Execute product updates, pricing changes, promotions, and seasonal transitions.
Inventory, Fulfillment & SLA Performance
- Create and manage FBA shipping plans and replenishment schedules to maintain optimal in-stock levels.
- Coordinate fulfillment processes with DC/3PL to ensure on-time shipping and compliance with SLAs.
- Monitor inventory health and take corrective action to reduce aged or stranded stock.
Merchandising, Content & Brand Control
- Implement and optimize product titles, keywords, bullets, and enhanced content following SEO and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with Creative to produce and QA imagery, infographics, and A+ content.
- Track buy-box performance and report unauthorized sellers or MAP violations.
Analytics & Reporting
- Maintain weekly dashboards for KPIs such as GMV, buy-box share, IPI, and fulfillment performance.
- Analyze SKU-level performance, pricing elasticity, and content effectiveness; recommend actions to drive results.
- Support business reviews and product launch recaps with clean, insightful reporting.
Advertising & Promotions Support
- Assist with campaign setup and promotion execution for Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, and similar platforms.
- Track ROI and performance of promotional activities, recommending optimization strategies.
Compliance & Customer Experience
- Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience to address feedback and enhance product presentation and satisfaction.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH), Shopify Plus, and Marketplace Connect; Looker Studio/Tableau preferred.
- Operational Acumen: Familiar with FBA workflows, restock limits, IPI, and fulfillment logistics.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret eCommerce KPIs (GMV, CVR, ASP, TACoS/ACoS, ODR) and turn insights into action.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Clear communicator who works effectively across Planning, Operations, Creative, and Customer Service teams.
- Attention to Detail: Skilled at QA, data validation, and maintaining operational accuracy.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years in eCommerce marketplace operations; apparel category experience preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience managing Amazon Seller Central (FBA/FBM) and at least one additional marketplace (e.g., Walmart, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop).
Physical Requirements
Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read reports.
Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees.
Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up products.
Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to type and use technical sources.
