Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is seeking a math teacher to join Lewis-Palmer Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year. Eligibility for a Colorado teaching license with secondary math endorsement is required. This position teaches four sections of math classes and an enrichment class. The ability to teach the full range of middle school math classes is required, including 7th grade math up to Geometry. Sense of humor and flexibility are requirements to fully appreciate our middle level students! Coaching sports, sponsoring clubs, forensics, and teaching enrichment classes is also desired and needed. This position is full-time with full benefits. Please apply as soon as possible.
Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. As a guideline, we offer up to 17 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 18, per school board policy. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550-$73,848 annually. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website. *This position is eligible for a $2,000 bonus - $1000 paid after 90 days and $1000 paid in the March 2026 paycheck.
