As a Program Director of Quality Assurance at Horizon, you will…
- Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s quality assurance strategy.
- Supervise and support quality assurance reviewers.
- Ensure documentation and reporting practices meet compliance and quality standards.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present reports on quality trends and improvement plans for corporate leadership.
- Serve as a resource for quality standards and best practices

What makes you a great candidate?
We can’t wait to learn more about you! Here are a few specifics of what you’ll need for the job:
- Master’s degree in behavioral health, healthcare administration, public health, or related field with professional licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMHC)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance or compliance in a behavioral healthcare setting, or similar experience
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards applicable to behavioral health.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and disciplines.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
- Experience in trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices.
Location:
This position is located at 55 Dodge Rd, Getzville NY.
Hours:
This position is full-time, from Monday – Friday with a flexible daytime schedule.
Compensation:
Horizon is consistently evaluating our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The range of pay for this position is $71,000 - $76,000. Starting pay may be impacted based on experience and education. Compensation adjustments are evaluated annually.
Physical demands associated with this position include:
- Sitting for extended periods, alternating between standing and sitting
- Mobility required with repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements
- Handling light duties, occasionally lifting objects up to 20 pounds
