We are seeking a Lab Planner to work in our lab at the Richburg facility in Richburg, SC. In this position, you are part of an analytical process where you ensure products meet the chemistry specifications of both the industry and the customer. A successful candidate will need to exhibit good reasoning skills, be able to read and carry out complex technical procedures and have good attention to detail.  

Additional Responsibilities: 

• Review item requirements for specification applicability and customer exception comments for any additional laboratory testing that is above and beyond specification(s).
• Review traveler for heat-treat condition of material to ship and identify all applicable sample plans destined for laboratory testing.
• Print or make copies of applicable sample plans and laboratory work sheets.
• Consolidate laboratory work sheets for data entry and work instruction preparation.
• Verify sample plans/sample follower sheets provide adequate material and cutting instructions for all testing requirements.
• Evaluate heat qualification applicability. Adjust testing as necessary.
• Enter test requirements into LIMS.
• Print, prepare, and file laboratory work instructions.
• Assist in routine laboratory operations and/or perform other routine laboratory work as directed.
• Aid in training of new employee.
