JOB SUMMARY:
The AR Portal Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving assigned tasks within 3rd party technology, ensuring the accurate submission and tracking of invoices through various third-party portals. This role involves researching and addressing exceptions, collaborating with branch teams to obtain missing documentation (such as purchase orders, pricing details, and reports), and ensuring all required information is provided to Monto to clear outstanding tasks.

The AR Portal Specialist will regularly navigate and operate within multiple third-party platforms,  ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable transactions.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Upload invoices to various third-party portals.
  • Monitor portal dashboards to identify rejected invoices or customer requests.
  • Direct rejected invoices to the CSRs and billing teams.
  • Communicate issues or portal maintenance with Third-Party Portal Administrator.
  • Maintain the portal email inbox.
  • Collecting portal AR by region using GetPaid, Salesforce and Oracle.
  • Attend AR reviews with AR Portal Supervisor and Collections Manager to review progress of collections.
  • Communicate with customer to resolve PO, billing, and portal AR issues.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications. 

Education, Training, Certifications: 

  • High School diploma/ GED or Accounting certificate, required.
  • Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or similar; preferred.

Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:

  • 2-3 years billing experience, highly preferred.
  • 2-3 years of portal experience, preferred.

Communication Skills:

  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of basic administrative procedures, required.
  • Ability to work effectively as a collaborator, required.

Systems and Software Skills:

  • Ability to operate a computer, use Microsoft Office, required.
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge, preferred.
  • Ability to learn ERP/CRM systems, preferred.

Other Qualifications: 

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to comply with Summit’s Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit for long periods. Employee will occasionally be required to bend, kneel, balance, lift <20lb, walk, stand, ascend/descend stairs, drive, twist, and reach above and below shoulders. Employee will frequently be required to drive and walk for periods. 

Work Environment:

Employee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office setting, work alone and with others.  Employees will occasionally be required to work outside, and be exposed to hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards and noise.  Employee must occasionally wear all appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety policies while visiting locations.
