ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and talented Assistant Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving our marketing initiatives forward. This hands-on position is all about taking charge of the day-to-day tasks that keep our marketing engine running smoothly. The ideal candidate will assist in developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate our brand, connect with our target audience, and promote our high-quality beauty products. You will play a key role in supporting brand marketing initiatives, as well as creating and distributing all educational and training materials to empower both internal teams and brand partners.
As a member of the Marketing team, you will collaborate with all teams cross-functionally and report directly to the Executive Director of Brand Marketing.
HYBRID: This role is classified as exempt from the Fair Labor Standard Act’s overtime requirement and is open to candidates based in Los Angeles. While the position is primarily remote, it follows a hybrid schedule requiring occasional in-person work at Culver City, CA 90230. The role requires working in PST hours, so candidates located on the West Coast are preferred. A reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from significant distractions are essential for remote work.
What You’ll Do:
Essential Job Functions
- Assist in implementing brand marketing initiatives, including promotional events, partnerships, and campaigns that strengthen brand loyalty and awareness
- Create and provide marketing materials and professional presentation decks for internal and external meetings, style guides, training materials, and external events to effectively communicate marketing strategies and product information
- Track timelines, assets, and approvals to ensure timely launches
- Stay up-to-date on trends and competitor launches by conducting competitive analysis and provide actionable insights to optimize future marketing efforts to shape effective marketing strategies
- Support the development of educational and training materials for internal teams, brand partners, and retailers, ensuring clear messaging about product benefits, application techniques, and brand values
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of marketing projects
- Assist in the seamless organization and coordination of assets/docs and other deliverables for new door expansions
- Provide invaluable administrative support to the marketing team, from scheduling meetings and preparing reports to managing inquiries, ordering supplies, and handling product shipments
- Maintain vital marketing databases, contracts, and other pertinent documentation for efficient operations
- Serve as the team’s note-taker during meetings and act as the go-to information hub for valuable insights and updates

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years experience in Marketing or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with marketing tools and software
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
This role requires the following physical capabilities:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
