The Role:
MRI Software is looking for a QA Engineer I/II to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be playing a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products and application. Will be collaborating with cross- functional teams to ensure products and services work in fully integrated manner.

This role is based at our HQ in Solon, OH. Remote candidates will not be considered.

You Will:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and experience in both innovative technologies and meeting the diverse requirements of our clients. We value the combination of technical expertise and client focus, which are essential elements of being a successful QA Engineer in our organization.
Execute test cases and scenarios (functional/integration/regression) and report test results to appropriate stakeholders.
Assists in the development of user stories and acceptance criteria within an Agile team.
Actively engage in Agile meetings, which encompass various activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog refinement.
Identifies and creates input data based on specifications; determines output based on business rules.
Logs issues and system bugs with appropriate detail; sets appropriate severity level.
Works closely with developers and product owners on the Agile team to devise test cases and test plans that ensure comprehensive coverage of positive and negative test cases against user story requirements.
Ensures appropriate test coverage; clearly documents, and understands which features are covered by manual tests and which are covered by automated tests.
Collaborates with QA engineers to identify functions and features that require test automation.
Manages acceptance criteria, maintains documentation, user accounts and test data used by the team.
Assists other teams as required.
You Have:
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related area
0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Basic knowledge of software applications and testing.
Willingness to learn and collaborate with the team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; Fluent English language speaker
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Dedicated to continual learning and self-improvement.
Able to conduct routine tasks using established practices.
A heightened overall analytical aptitude to apply quality assurance (QA) principles to all aspects of work.
Basic database knowledge (able to write and execute low level queries).
