POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Compass Sales Team, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a crucial role in generating profitable business leads through potential client outreach. This role will focus on cold outreach to new prospective clients, assessing potential leads, and providing those leads to the sales team. The SDR will also be responsible for maintaining clear records tracking the outreach and updating the CRM system.
Position Location: Houston or Austin, TX (ON SITE)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect and generate new sales leads through cold calling, email campaigns and social media outreach.
- Engage with potential law firm clients to understand their needs and be able to engage with potential clients on how Compass’ services may benefit their firm.
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Sales Representatives using Compass’ qualification criteria.
- Identify high-potential areas of growth and develop and execute outbound strategies to convert potential firms to sales leads.
- Assist the sales and marketing team by providing input and administrative support in the development of outreach strategies..
- Maintain and update Salesforce with accurate contact and activity records.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- 6+ months of experience in Sales Development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong phone and email outreach abilities.
- Goal-oriented with a proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software.
