We are seeking a Senior Proposal Manager - Aviation to join us in our Huntsville, AL headquarters in Research Park. This individual must have specific experience, as defined below, with Army Aviation proposals.

Position Overview:

The selected individual will be responsible for research and collaboration with internal and external technical and other professionals to develop winning aviation proposals in response to Army aviation training requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver seasoned aviation training proposal support.

  • Prepare and supervise major proposal color reviews and recovery

  • Assist business development, the RFP Capture Manager, and technical writers

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or an Aviation related discipline

  • 15 Years of successful experience in the development of highly technical, winning proposals with award value greater than $100 million.

  • 3 years of specific, relevant experience preparing aviation training

  • 3 years of experience creating proposals for aviation training proposals

  • At least 2 years of experience using Sharepoint, NextStage or similar proposal management software.

  • 3 years of experience leading/participating in proposal color reviews

  • Strong knowledge of DoD Aviation PEOs/PMOs associated with aviation as well as FAA regulations and military standards for training.

  • On a scale of 1 – 5, with 5 being the highest level of skill, at least level 4 skills in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Sharepoint
