Male Youth Ministry Associate – Leadership & Operations
Position Type: Full-Time Ministry Associate (40 hrs/week)
Reports to: Youth Director (Josh)
Mentored by: Current Associate Director (first 6–12 months)

Role Summary:
This role is built for a flexible, growth-minded leader who wants to learn the ins and outs of youth ministry while making a tangible impact behind the scenes. The primary focus is to learn the ministry, support Student Leadership and Groups, and grow into ownership of logistics, events, and operational systems. This role will evolve over time — requiring humility, initiative, and a willingness to take on new challenges as ministry needs change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn the Ministry: Observe and engage in all aspects of Cornerstone Youth to understand the people, culture, and systems.
- Support Student Leadership & Groups: Help strengthen structures, communication, and follow-up systems to ensure both thrive.
- Logistics & Operations: Grow into owning the youth ministry calendar, event coordination, communication flow, and Asana/ministry playbook systems.
- Events & Planning: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing retreats, trips, and major events with excellence and warmth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the communications, worship, and creative teams to ensure alignment across all youth experiences.
- Teaching & Leadership Development: Occasionally teach on Wednesday nights or in leader settings as gifting develops.
- Vision Execution: Partner with Josh to translate big-picture goals into clear and actionable plans each week.
- Adaptability: Remain open and flexible to take on new tasks, roles, or directions as the ministry grows and shifts.
