As a Team Assistant, you will provide essential clerical and administrative support to help the department achieve its goals. You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth operations and supporting both staff and patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

🧩 Essential Functions

  • Maintain organized files, statistics, and reports for easy access to accurate information
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and presentation materials; track progress of special projects
  • Manage and update departmental databases
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings/classes, including materials, refreshments, minutes, and travel arrangements
  • Collaborate with support department team members to improve office efficiencies and assist with implementation
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Handle confidential information with discretion under general supervision
  • Maintain regular, punctual attendance in accordance with Orlando Health policies and applicable laws
  • Ensure compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
Qualifications:

🎓 Education & Training

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) preferred

🧰 Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of clerical or secretarial experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
