Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Field Operation Technician I. As a Field Operation Technician I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our field equipment and infrastructure. You will be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks at customer sites and remote locations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain field equipment and infrastructure according to company standards and specifications.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to coordinate site visits and service requests.
- Document all service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, accurately and thoroughly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and end-users as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or coursework is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in a field service or technical support role preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
- Familiarity with a variety of tools and equipment used in field operations.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and remote locations as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as required.
Work Conditions
Work will involve constant driving/traveling to assigned clinics/territories
