Position Summary

Are you passionate about helping others find their voice and regain independence? We’re seeking a caring, skilled, and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team — where compassion and excellence come first.

In this role, you’ll provide exceptional speech therapy services with professionalism, empathy, and clinical expertise. You’ll evaluate, treat, and guide patients on their journey to improved communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic function — empowering them to thrive. This position operates within the scope of practice defined by the Florida Board of Speech-Language Pathology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized speech therapy care in both inpatient and outpatient settings — including evaluation, treatment, family/caregiver training, and discharge planning.

  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans to address communication, speech, language, voice, cognitive, and swallowing challenges.

  • Adapt and refine treatment interventions to achieve meaningful patient progress.

  • Complete accurate, timely documentation including assessments, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

  • Provide family and caregiver education to ensure continued success beyond therapy.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create holistic, patient-centered care plans.

  • Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining departmental productivity and quality standards.

  • Participate in care conferences, community coordination, and in-service training to support continuous improvement.

  • Identify and recommend equipment, tools, or resources to enhance patient outcomes and service quality.

What You Bring

  • A heart for compassionate care and a commitment to patient progress.

  • Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • The ability to work independently while collaborating within a supportive team environment.

  • Dedication to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Compassionate Culture: Join a team that truly puts people first — where every patient and team member is valued.

  • Meaningful Impact: Help patients find their voice, improve their confidence, and live more fulfilling lives.

  • Professional Growth: Access ongoing education and mentorship to advance your skills and career.

  • Community Connection: Eligible for The Villages Charter School enrollment, supporting you and your family as part of our community.

Competencies

  • Demonstrates progress and measurable outcomes for patients throughout treatment.

  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and care team members.

  • Completes documentation and evaluations accurately and on time.

  • Provides quality supervision and guidance to Assistants when applicable.

  • Maintains expected productivity standards while ensuring exceptional care delivery.
