We are looking for a highly self-motivated Development Intern for Spring 2026 at New Hope of Indiana to support our development initiatives. You will work part-time (10-15 hours a week) for the Spring 2026 semester. Pay is $14/hour.

Students pursuing degrees in Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Philanthropy, Communications, or Public Affairs are ideal candidates. Still, internships in this department can be tailored to match various academic and career interests.

About the Job:

The intern will focus on development projects, including, but not limited to: securing auction items for our Silver Cup Celebration event, securing sponsorships, and donor stewardship.

What You Will Do – Development Intern:

  • Secure silent auction items and sponsorships for the Silver Cup Celebration event.
  • Enter and maintain data in New Hope’s donor database, Network for Good.
  • Prepare stewardship and correspondence including but not limited to mass email and mailing campaigns.
  • Assist the management of donor stewardship projects.
  • Assist the planning of fundraising and donor appreciation events.
  • Represent New Hope in a professional manner that is consistent with our mission.

What Qualifications Do I Need to be a New Hope Intern?

You need to be able to use the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook programs
You will have excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
You will be detail oriented and be able to proactively meet deadlines
