About Us:

The Newgrange School of Princeton is a state-approved private school serving students with language-based learning differences in grades 1–12+. In collaboration with the Robinowitz Center, we provide diagnostic evaluations, intervention, and educational support for students with diverse learning needs.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative School Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. This position includes responsibilities within both the Newgrange School and the Robinowitz Center, focusing on student evaluations, IEP development, and consultation to support academic and emotional success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and diagnostic evaluations (cognitive, behavioral, academic, and social-emotional).
  • Prepare clear, detailed reports outlining strengths, needs, and recommendations.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to develop and monitor individualized plans.
  • Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation with staff and families.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student growth and well-being.
  • Support the Robinowitz Center’s evaluation services through testing, interpretation, and family feedback sessions.
  • Maintain all records and documentation in compliance with NJDOE standards and ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s inclusive, student-centered mission.


Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid New Jersey School Psychologist Certificate (endorsement code 3100) issued by the NJDOE.
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing formal reports.
  • Strong understanding of special education law, IEP process, and intervention planning.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • NJDOE fingerprinting and background clearance required.
  • Experience working with students with learning differences preferred.
