Unit Description:

Daytona Beach Racing & Card Club in Daytona Beach, Florida, is owned and operated by Delaware North. It features a 50-table poker room, simulcast wagering with more than 250 televisions for simulcasts and other sports and entertainment, as well as a full-service restaurant.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise team, providing planning and scheduling of work assignments, and performance development
• Participate in the selection and training of new team members, working to ensure they are knowledgeable of laws and procedures
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues
• Assist in the preparation of daily and weekly reports
• Monitor inventory supplies for cage operations
• Maintain an accurate cash bank and balance money at the end of each shift; investigate all variances and report when applicable
• Monitor the ticket redemption machines and schedule maintenance as needed
• Maintain the supervisor bank transactions daily when necessary

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience 
• Must be able to handle large money transactions accurately and reconcile the vault
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead in a results-oriented, high-volume environment are required
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license
• No college degree required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 30 lbs occasionally
• Must be able to bend and lift occasionally, stand for long periods of time
• Gaming environment, the environment may be smoky with moderate-to-high noise levels
