Job Summary:
AAON, Inc. is seeking a skilled and data-driven HR Data Analytics & Reporting Analyst to join our Human Resources team. This full-time role will be instrumental in transforming HR data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Manager HRIS & Employee Services and collaborating closely with HR leadership, this position will focus on advanced data analysis, dashboard development, and reporting to drive initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and workforce planning.

Essential Job Functions:
· Independently collect, clean, and analyze complex HR datasets from multiple sources (HRIS, surveys, performance systems).
· Apply statistical methods and predictive analytics to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
· Design, build, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
· Deliver regular and ad hoc reports on key HR metrics including turnover, engagement, and performance.
· Partner with HR and business leaders to translate data findings into strategic recommendations.
· Support workforce planning and talent strategy through data modeling and forecasting.
· Create and analyze employee surveys using Qualtrics.
· Lead or co-lead analytics projects focused on retention, talent optimization, and organizational effectiveness.
· Manage timelines, stakeholder communications, and deliverables for analytics initiatives.
· Evaluate and improve data collection and reporting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
· Recommend and implement automation solutions where applicable.
· Create compelling visual narratives to support HR strategy and decision-making.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
· Experience:
o 3-5+ years of experience in HR analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
o Proven experience working with HRIS systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
o Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
· Skills & Abilities:
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization.
o Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
o High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
o Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This job requires visits to the manufacturing floor. This can require the use of safety shoes and safety glasses and other required PPE.
Travel:
Some travel is expected for this position. This is subject to change according to business needs.
