THE JOB:

As a K-9 Handler, you’ll play a vital role in the safety and security of our property by working side-by-side with a highly trained detection dog.  Together, you'll patrol with purpose, identify potential threats, and provide peace of mind to guests and employees alike.  This isn’t just a job - it’s a mission with meaning, where your instincts, skills, and bond with your K-9 partner make a real difference every day.  You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us!

THE STARTING RATE:  $22.73 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Use the canine as needed to help protect life and property at MGMRI facilities and during assigned operations
• Search vehicles, executive aircraft, packages, backpacks, mail, containers, rooms, buildings, and other areas for explosive materials or weapons
• Keep the dog’s detection skills sharp through regular training and certification
• Take care of the dog’s daily health and well-being, including proper diet, plenty of water, daily checks, and grooming
• Deliver excellent guest service to both guests and employees

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years of experience in law enforcement, military, or private security, and/or legal profession
• Advanced knowledge in investigations, defensive tactic techniques and emergency protocols
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
