We’re looking for a highly analytical and performance oriented Inside Sales Representative-National Accounts who thrives on turning data into actionable insights. This role blends traditional account management responsibilities with a sharp focus on leveraging analytics to optimize outreach, personalize customer engagement, and drive revenue growth. If you're passionate about sales and fluent in the language of metrics, dashboards, and content management - this is your arena. 

 

Inside Sales Representative responsibilities include:

  • Data-Driven Prospecting: Use CRM and sales intelligence platforms to identify high-potential leads based on behavioral and demographic data.
  • Account Data Management: Execute on the assortment strategy and product content needs of all National/MRO accounts.
  • Account Product Support: Promote and support the implementation of new and additional products within each National/MRO portfolio.
  • Data Management Improvement: Suggest and implement continuous improvement methods.
  • Solutions quotation assistance.
  • Carry out CRM entry of all sales opportunities within the channel and assist with after-sales follow-up.
  • Customer Insights: Analyze customer data to tailor messaging and recommend solutions that align with account needs and patterns.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Collaborate with sales to generate accurate forecasts.
  • Proactive Sales and Marketing outreach exercises.
  • Scorecard Support: Assist in generating action plans stemming from account scorecard findings.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product and Finance teams.
  • Ability to travel as required for channel partner training and trade show participation.

 

 Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into sales strategies.
  • Active participation and facilitation of group meetings.
  • Maintain strong planning, organization, and follow up. 
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Must have working knowledge of the MS Suite of products. 
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks and be very detail oriented.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Preferred experience within industrial distribution.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a customer relationship management role.
  • 2+ years of experience working in outside, B2B, or inside sales.
