In this position, you will be supporting the Ordnance Systems (OSI) Business at our Kingsport, TN facility. This position will be full time (40 hours / week) onsite at our Kingsport facility beginning in May 2026 - April 2027. Relocation may be offered, but housing is not provided.

As a Chemical Engineering Co-op, you will:
- Participate in a twelve-month assignment beginning May 2026 that will focus in Design / Project Engineering
- Work with experienced engineers in designing new processes, overseeing construction, and assisting with startup and commissioning tasks
- Be involved with common engineering deliverables such as Process Flow Diagrams, Heat & Material Balances, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, Equipment Specifications, Interlock Narratives, Pressure Relief Calculations, etc...
- -Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)

Required Skills and Education
- Must be a US Person due to the nature of our business
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a University with an ABET accredited Chemical Engineering Program seeking a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
- Completed at least 4 semesters of college engineering coursework
- Basic knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a relevant field of chemical engineering
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with MS Office applications: Outlook, Work, Excel, & PowerPoint
