DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Director of Student Services, this coordinator has the purpose of assuring that resources are identified and made available to teachers, families, and youth. In addition, the coordinator is the central point of connection to the community. This includes coordinating the family engagement
processes, creating links and building relationships with local community services and supports,
and serving as the information conduit for best practices that are emerging throughout the SLS
network.

Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to sufficient experience, training and/or education to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities listed above. A typical way to obtain these would be:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Bachelor’s degree desired
• Two years of experience in a Mental Health related field may be substituted for formal education
